Well,
until very recently we would have been a client of this website,
had it previously existed. The story is very straight forward.
We
lived and owned our property on the outskirts of Inverness.
Almost 4 years ago we decided to sell the property and accordingly
placed it with an Inverness Estate Agency service.
Interest was quick to begin with because
it was new on the market, but soon tailed off and settled down
to a steady trickle of interest for most of the following 3 years.
Our primary business involves web design so, in September 2000
we decided to build a website specifically with the aim of promoting
our property for sale nationwide.
Our "property for sale" website gained increased ranking
on the search engines which was reflected in the volume of interest
we received. Between January and April 2001 we had over 250 interested
contacts from every corner of the UK. Over 90% of these contacts
were directly through our website. We dispensed with the services
of our estate agents and relied solely upon the Internet to sell
our property.
In
October 2001 we sold our property to a couple outwith Inverness
and the Scottish Highlands. They, like lots of others had
found our property for sale through our website advertisement.
